June 2020-September 2020
June 2020 – September 2020 –
As Miriam Tees said, in many ways, it’s easier to do Zoom than to attend normally! Many of us were confined with this horrendous Covid-19, but, given the ‘idée géniale’ via Judith Kashul and Katie Kinnear, we communicated with Zoom and with photos. With much enthusiasm, so many submitted some fabulous shots a compilation of masses of colour and design and dimension. It truly kept us united during this difficult period.
December 2017 – Lots of fun at the Christmas 2017 Wreath-making Workshop hosted by Sharon de Gaspé Power. And beautiful wreaths to adorn our doors!
June 2017 – Members participated in a hat decorating workshop organized by Wanda Bray and team in celebration of our 85th anniversary. It was great fun!
December 2016 and the annual Christmas wreath workshop was as popular as ever.
December 2015 brought many of the Diggers and Weeders to the annual Christmas wreath workshop hosted by Janice Winslow, Graham Stewart and Danielle Verreault. As in past years it was a fun and productive project with everyone going home with a beautifully crafted wreath.
Curated by Elaine Steinberg, Town of Hudson’s Hudson History Garden 1960-90 tells a story about gardeners in the region, many were members of Diggers and Weeders Garden Club.
